Mumbai-based D2C health-focused brand, The Good Bug has raised $3.5 million in series A funding led by Fireside Ventures. A large part of this fund will be deployed for new product development, team expansion, and brand investment, a statement issued by the company said. 

"In a short span of time, we have identified the importance of Gut Health early on and delivered the consumer promise through scientifically backed and user-friendly solutions. The brand's dedication to demystifying the complexities of gut health and making it accessible to all is witnessing widespread recognition and trust from consumers," it said. 

The brand addresses chronic issues across bloating, constipation, weight management others through the gut.  

Commenting on the capital infusion, Keshav Biyani and Prabhu Karthikeyan, founders of The Good Bug Said, " We aim to pioneer and expand the Gut Health category in India, which has been an unexplored segment.
