Agri-tech start-up Ninjacart has launched the ‘Agri Next’ initiative to bridge the technological gap within the agricultural ecosystem. This includes advancements in enabling commerce, adopting logistics and fulfillment solutions, and providing accessible capital options to empower agri citizens across the value chain.

The company said that the new launch will help stakeholders like farmers, traders and retailers to make informed decisions, enhance efficiency, and increase savings, marking a significant step toward a more technologically advanced agricultural sector.

Kartheeswaran K K, CEO and co-founder of Ninjacart expressed, "Through this initiative, we aim to transcend the boundaries of traditional agriculture and embrace a future where technology and innovation drive growth, efficiency, and prosperity for all agri stakeholders."

Ninjacart has introduced complimentary public Wi-Fi at the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) outlet in Pune's Gultekdi. Spanning 0.36 square kilometers, this project deploys 24 routers strategically positioned across 23 key locations within the mandi.

Thorough testing ensures that the Wi-Fi network covers the entire market area, offering seamless internet connectivity to all mandi visitors. By addressing challenges like poor network access, overcrowding, and limited infrastructure, and providing access to uninterrupted internet, farmers and traders can use Ninjacart's Ninja app. This facilitates the discovery of verified traders, access to credit and payment guarantee solutions, which can enhance their overall trade activities and improve their daily business operations.
