Drona Pay secured first place in the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) hosted FinNovate Accelerator Demo Day. The event held at the SPJIMR campus in Andheri West awarded the company after observing its commitment to innovation, mentorship, collaboration, etc.

The jury comprised angel investors, family offices and high net worth individuals (HNIs), corporate investors, and venture capitalists, including industry leaders such as Blume Ventures, Chiratae Ventures, Pentathlon Ventures, Prime Venture Partners, Aavishkar Ventures, SIDBI Ventures, Citi Group, YES Bank, and ICICI Bank.

Manoj Mohan, head of FinNovate and executive director of the centre for financial innovation (CFI), SPJIMR, added, "The FinNovate Accelerator Demo Day is a testament to the potential unlocked when visionary start-ups, experienced mentors, and influential investors come together. The event also featured the Mumbai Roadshow, hosted by the Sunil Bhatia start-up Hub. It included panel discussions with renowned industry experts and a masterclass designed to elevate fintech understanding to unprecedented levels. The occasion provided an excellent opportunity for networking, learning, and enhancing one's presence in the fintech community.
