Indian start-up incubator T-Hub and Canada's Accelerator Centre (AC) have partnered to facilitate an International Market Immersion Program. A statement issued to inform about the development read that the partnership will mark a significant step toward fostering global innovation, strengthening entrepreneurial networks, and facilitating the rapid scaling of startups from India across North America.

The partnership will equip Indian start-up founders with the knowledge, mentorship, and investor readiness needed to thrive in the North American market. Both entities will work to design and execute a customised 4-week program aimed at nurturing Indian start-ups' growth prospects in Canada and the USA. T-Hub will choose a group of 10 high-potential start-ups for the program, as well as monitor program implementation and offer steadfast support, according to the release.

Mahankali Srinivas Rao, CEO of T-Hub, said, “Through the Market Immersion Program, we aim to equip Indian start-ups with the essential tools and knowledge to conquer the North American market, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship across borders. Canada's thriving start-up ecosystem underscores its pivotal role in shaping global innovation, making it a prime destination for start-ups seeking to scale and thrive”.

Jay Krishnan, CEO of Accelerator Centre, said, “Together with T-Hub, we aim to provide start-ups with the essential resources and opportunities they need to thrive in this dynamic ecosystem, setting the stage for their success not only in Canada but on the world stage."

The program culminates in a Demo Day, where investors, industry experts, and the community will connect with participating start-ups, facilitating the building of their Canadian networks. Additionally, start-ups will have the opportunity to access the Start-up Visa Program following the program's completion.

T-Hub is one of India's leading innovation ecosystems that power entrepreneurship and innovation. As a unique public-private partnership between the government of Telangana, three of India's premier academic institutes (IIIT-H, ISB, and NALSAR), and key private sector leaders, T-Hub aims to foster a thriving startup ecosystem in India.
