Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah will join Uber Technologies, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on November 13, 2023. He replaces Nelson Chai, who decided to step down from the role in August this year.

Mahendra-Rajah is currently the CFO of Analog Devices (ADI) where he set financial strategy and oversaw the company’s global finance organisation. He was also responsible for financial management, planning, controls, and reporting at the semiconductor manufacturing company. 

Prior to joining ADI, he was CFO of WABCO Holdings Inc., a global supplier of commercial vehicle technologies. He previously served as Division CFO and in other financial leadership roles at Applied Materials, Visa, and United Technologies.

Mahendra-Rajah holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, an M.S. in engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an M.B.A. from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. He also serves on the board of directors of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
