Digital real estate platform, Housing.com has collaborated with international Insurtech leader BOXX. The collaboration is aimed at enhancing security for Indian homebuyers by introducing the comprehensive 'Cyber Protect' Plan. 

The newly introduced plan enables customers to safeguard their digital lives and secure them against digital fraud. The monthly premium will be Rs 199 and it comes with the backing of BOXX and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. 

The danger of cyber attacks is increasing in the country and it is the fifth top-rated risk in 2020. A report by Embrocker has claimed that after the outbreak of the pandemic, the number of cyber-attacks has been amplified. There has been an alarming 18 per cent surge in cyber-attacks during the first quarter of 2023 in India.

The plan will be available through the Housing.com App and Web Portal, BOXX's online insurance platform offers a seamless experience to acquire this carefully tailored protection plan. 

This added safeguard protects financial transactions and contributes to an overall secure online environment. Whether purchased individually or added during rent payments, 'Cyber Protect' is a pillar of defense for customers’ online financial security, the company informed in its statement.  

The digital real estate platform is owned by the Australia-based Real Estate Australia (REA) group has recently announced to launch of offering grade B properties in the top cities of the country.
