HaiVE, an on-premise AI research and development start-up, introduced its new free and open-source self-hostable AI assistant, empowering companies to deploy secure automated customer service behind their firewall.

This version enables organisations to implement AI with full control and ownership of their data. It offers identical industry-leading functionality as HaiVE’s hosted AI assistant but with the entire system contained in clients’ private infrastructure to enhance security and privacy, the company said in a statement.

Arjun Reddy, co-founder at HaiVe said, “We are proud to provide an AI-powered multi-role agent with the flexibility of both cloud and open-source self-hosted deployments. These agents can communicate via multiple channels like calls, SMS, WhatsApp, Freshworks, Zendesk, Salesforce, and more."

He added, “Enterprises globally tell us that customizable, in-house AI is crucial for tailoring intelligence to their specific needs while ensuring data protection. With GDPR, CCPA, and other emerging regulations, we expect on-premise solutions to sharply rise in demand - and HaiVE is leading the way by offering our solution as Open-Source."

HaiVE also offers a hosted version of this assistant using a convenient pay-as-you-go SaaS model. Integrating seamlessly with popular software platforms like Zendesk, and Freshworks and communication channels like iMessage. Ideal for scalable startups, it provides cutting-edge AI affordably without hardware or installation, this version is perfect for scaling start-ups pursuing next-level customer experience powered by AI.

The company enables partners to build their model to fit their needs or custom infrastructure, tailored for their growth, compliance, and security priorities, the statement added.

Founded in 2023, the Singapore-headquartered start-up offers on-premise business-specific turned AI solutions targeting the fintech players in India and Australia. The company raised $1 million in its pre-seed round led by Mohan K, founder and CEO of IppoPay.
