Sales and revenue management company, Atica, has raised seed funding led by Titan Capital, with participation from other investors including hotel owners, Rahul Talwar (DLF Family Office), Anil Goel (president of technology, Byjus), Bhuvan Gupta (co-founder, Of Business), Ramji Sundararajan (partner, Mckinsey Palo Alto), and Prashant Sood (Eros Group). The company which claims to help hotels in the USA market grow annual revenues by up to 40 per cent will use the funds to strengthen the technology product and build the base infrastructure. A part of the funding will also be used for business development.

Founded in 2021 by Akash Goel and Bonish Gandhi, Atica works with hotel clients owning properties across all major brands including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, Choice, Wyndham and Best Western. The company reportedly uses a mix of sales management, digital marketing and revenue management technology modules to unlock the revenue potential of its clients who operate in hyper-competitive markets across the US.

"These funds are a necessary tool required to experiment, build, fail fast and find success. Funds are also critical to enable expansion in the USA market. Our past industry experience has helped us find PMF early and we are now in the growth phase; Our investors bring enormous experience, and mature advice to the table. We feel stronger having partnered with them," said Akash Goel and Bonish Gandhi, co-founders at Atica.

"Atica helps hotel owners in the US boost their revenues, which leads to high retention. With Akash & Bonish's expertise in the industry from past experience paired with rapid traction they are seeing in their business, Atica is poised to see huge success with their low churn & recurring revenue B2B business," added Bipin Shah from Titan Capital.
