Ahead of class 10th ICSE and CBSE Math board exams, learning platform Cuemath has launched 'Mathfit', a digital handbook that aims to empower students to ace these exams by overcoming their 'Math Phobia.' The guide shares simple and effective learning strategies to help students manage Math exam priorities efficiently.

This handbook comprises topics like relaxation methods, stress management and concentration techniques. Since parents play an essential role in their child's learning journey, it also informs them how to help children feel more confident while preparing for the examination.

The handbook will be populated through the edtech's social media handles and website and will also be distributed among the parents' and teachers' communities for greater accessibility.

Commenting on the initiative, Vivek Sunder, chief executive officer of Cuemath, said, "A survey conducted by us in 2021 found that the pressure and fear of mathematics among Class 10th students grows significantly during the board exams. The study also highlighted that several students in classes 9th and 10th lack self-belief in their mathematical abilities and how their confidence levels undergo a significant drop during the board exams. This struggle that many children face with respect to maths learning inspired us to introduce 'MathFit.'"

Founded in 2013, Cuemath is an after-school online Maths program for KG to 12th-grade students. It is backed by Lightrock, Alpha Wave Incubation, Sequoia Capital India, CapitalG (formerly Google Capital), and Manta Ray. In June 2022, the online math tutoring platform raised $57 million (around Rs 438 crore) in a funding round led by Alpha Wave, which doubled its valuation to $407 million.
Cuemath, currently present in over 80 countries, is certified by Grant Thornton. Its curriculum is also STEM and Google for Education-accredited.
