91Squarefeet, a commercial fit-out company backed by Y-Combinator, announced its expansion as it sets ambitious hiring goals for the upcoming year, 2024-2025.  

The company added in its release that it plans to recruit 500 Project Managers (PMs) and 100 architects in the next 12 months, targeting potential talent for its Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai offices.  

The start-up is committed to continuously upskilling its workforce with the latest technologies, ensuring that their work remains future-proof, and delivering the highest standards in architectural services to clients, it added in the statement.  

Currently consisting of 150 PMs and 30 architects internally, the company plans to scale its workforce to meet the demands of its expanding operations, it said.

Expressing excitement about the hiring initiative, Amit Bansal, co-founder and CEO of 91Squarefeet, stated, "Our journey of solving challenges in the commercial fit-out space has been incredible. As we expand our footprint, attracting top-tier talent is crucial for our continued success."

In December 2021, the company secured a substantial $1 million seed investment from notable angels, including Kunal Shah of CRED. Building on this success, in August 2022, the company raised an additional $10 million in Series A funding from key investors such as YCombinator, Stellaris, and Betatron, affirming its market potential and strategic vision.
