Consumer goods brand start-up 10clubhomes has appointed Kavitha Rao as its co-founder and COO. Alongside leading various business functions to drive growth and profitability, she will spearhead the company’s omnichannel expansion. She will also be responsible for doubling down on the category roadmap and leading daily operations to help 10clubhomes entrench itself in India’s rapidly evolving retail and consumer market. 

Rao was earlier the managing director of Accenture’s retail division, where she led the retail industry practice and supported retailers in their transformation journey across business, technology and operations. She has also served as the CCO at IKEA India wherein she was responsible for the business functions of sales, marketing, sourcing, merchandising, retail design, customer experience and food business across both physical and online retail channels. 

Valued at $30 million,10clubhomesaims to become a Rs 1000 crore brand within five yearsby strategically expanding its offline and online presence across India. It will launch its first offline store in Bengaluru in the Q1 2024 and lay out the roadmap to be present across 60 cities to attain 10X growth this year.  

“We are committed to investing in the right technology, designing our omnichannel presence as well as ensuring that we have the right number of inventories. We have just launched the beta website as well, as a move to increase our extensive presence. We’re going to have a shop-in-shop concept as well and in Q1, our stores would be seen in Bengaluru,” Rao said, while outlining her immediate plans for the company. 

According to her, 10clubhomes is on the right path to achieve an annual recuring revenue of Rs 1000 crore as the company has expanded its decor, surveyor and kitchen portfolio, in addition to augmenting its pre-existing garden, kids and home fitness segments.
