World Start-Up Convention (WSC) is set to host a start-up funding festival at the India Expo Mart in Noida. The three-day convention is scheduled to start on 24th March 2023 and will continue till 26th March 2023.

The convention is expected to have a large gathering of entrepreneurs and founders of more than 75,000 start-ups from over 50 countries. Among them 1,500 are venture capitalists (VC), 9,000 are angel investors, and approximately 2,000 are angel networks.

The event intends to aid funding and international exposure for India and other nations' entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Commenting on this, Arjun Chaudhary, co-founder of WSC, said, “India is home to numerous start-ups, and entrepreneurial initiatives are continuously increasing. With the World Start-up Convention, we intend to democratize start-up funding and create more investment channels for almost every entrepreneur."

Luke Talwar, the co-founder of WSC, added, “Gradually, the number of start-ups in India, as well as abroad, are increasing, majorly driven by technological advancements. There are newer, disruptive, and one-of-a-kind ideas that are taking the shape of business ventures.”

“World Start-up Convention aims to proffer these high-potential start-ups with immediate access to resources that they need for exponential growth. We intend to provide start-ups as well as investors with a platform where they can explore multiple investment opportunities in the global start-up ecosystem. Through this event, attendees also have a chance to build a robust network with business leaders across sectors,” he told.
