India Accelerator (IA), a seed accelerator programme in India with Global Accelerator Network, has announced its strategic alliance with Z Nation Lab (ZNL), a Silicon Valley-based VC fund to help Indian start-ups to build a strong base in the technology-concentrated market.

The alliance aims to bring access to advanced technologies, mentorship opportunities, and strategic alliances, ultimately leading to accelerated growth and market expansion in the start-up ecosystem.

As part of the expansion, IA has planned three months of cohort program in India and go-to-market support from the USA. Start-ups ready to scale and expand their presence in the US will be shortlisted for the program. Additionally, IA and ZNL will invest up to $1.5 million in those start-ups and also connect them to its investor network to help them raise at least $ 1 million so as to build a disruptive business.

To attain a competitive position in the market, IA has started building an in-house team in the US along with Z Nation Lab, which will provide the necessary growth support in North America. IA will leverage Z Nation Lab’s tremendous network of executives from top tech companies like Google, Airbnb, Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Zoox, Paypal, Salesforce, Intuit, VMWare, Cisco, and Juniper amongst others in the US. These industry leaders will also be acting as mentors/ subject matter experts for all its start-ups.

Delighted with the tie-up announcement, Ashish Bhatia, Founder and CEO of India Accelerator, said, “As the global start-ups market continues to advance, we will continue to explore better markets for Indian startups to make a mark. Silicon Valley is dominated by tech talent and our strategic partnership with Z Nation Lab to enter the market opens a new growth avenue for Indian start-ups and exhibits extensive business support to innovate, gain agility and acquire international market.”

“Since we started, we’ve always envisioned a venture that nurtures the startup ecosystem and contributes towards its growth story. We are excited about our alliance with India Accelerator and we look forward to Indian startups attaining a competitive edge in Silicon Valley,” said Amit Jain, founder of Z Nation Lab.
