Zomato denied any wrongdoing, stating that it is not liable to pay the amount, as the delivery charge is collected by the platform on behalf of delivery partners
Its advisory to members stated that restauranteurs who sign up for Zomato Pay and Swiggy Diner programmes must compulsorily offer discounts and pay a commission fee on every transaction on these platforms
