The Commerce and Industry Ministry has urged unicorn start-ups to provide at least 30 minutes of mentorship to budding start-ups

The 2019 draft proposed to address six broad areas of the e-commerce ecosystem

The MoU on enhancing innovation ecosystems through an innovation handshake under the framework of the India-US Commercial Dialogue was signed on November 14

Goyal said the Government is set to introduce a fresh innovation fund, and forthcoming guidelines will soon be unveiled

The Textiles Ministry has also given a nod to 26 institutes for upgrading their laboratory infrastructure and training trainers in the application areas of technical textiles

The Commerce and Industry Minister also sought setting up a regulatory authority to monitor and regulate e-commerce trade in India

In the EV segment, standards are being developed for specific requirements for electric power trains and rechargeable electrical energy storage systems for certain categories of vehicles, electric rickshaws and type approval of hybrid electric vehicles
