The EOW wing registered an FIR against Ashneer and his family based on some complaints lodged by the fintech company

According to a report by the Mint, the FIR has been registered against the involved parties under eight sections of serious cognizable criminal offences

Co-founder Ashneer Grover had raised concerns over Rs 315 crore of ESOPs being granted to BharatPe’s top brass in the financial year 2021-22

Alleging that Grover, his wife Madhuri Jain and other family members misappropriated the fintech's funds, BharatPe is seeking up to Rs 88.67 crore in damages

This is BharatPe's third legal action against co-founder Ashneer Grover, after filing a civil suit at the Delhi High Court and a criminal complaint with the Economic Offences Wing
