HCLSoftware and SolarWinds have announced their expanded partnership to create an end-to-end 5G network observability platform, spanning from the cloud to the radio access network (RAN). The joint solution will combine HCLSoftware's Augmented Network Automation (HCL ANA) platform, HCL DRYiCE iObserve powered by SolarWinds and other HCLSoftware telecom products with the SolarWinds observability, monitoring and service management platform to provide a comprehensive telecommunications observability platform for mobile network operators. The solution, powered by AI-based technology, will save mobile network operators millions of dollars per year by reducing energy consumption and costs across the RAN, core telecom network and IT infrastructure in cloud or on-premises environments.

The HCL ANA Platform, HCLSoftware's next-generation network optimization solution, automates multi-vendor and multi-technology (e.g., 4G and 5G) deployments in cloud or on-premises environments, enabling mobile operators to manage their 5G services globally. The platform is ORAN-compliant and utilizes AI-based self-healing techniques to predict, configure and optimise hybrid networks.

One of the key use cases addressed by the joint HCLSoftware and SolarWinds 5G telecom network observability platform is network congestion relief, which improves network performance in areas with high traffic congestion, such as city centers, to optimize subscribers' quality of experience. The platform also supports varied AI-based applications.

“We are excited to build this AI-based telecom observability platform with SolarWinds that will provide unparalleled savings for our telecom customers,” said Kalyan Kumar, chief product officer, HCLSoftware.

The joint solution will provide deep integration between HCL iObserve (powered by SolarWinds Observability) and HCL ANA, allowing telecommunications customers to meet their observability needs across multi-cloud and 4G and 5G environments through a common platform.

HCLSoftware and SolarWinds will showcase their joint solution at Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2, 2023. HCLSoftware is a leading provider of digital transformation, data analytics, AI, and enterprise security solutions for over 20,000 organizations worldwide, including a majority of the Fortune 100 and almost half of the Fortune 500. SolarWinds provides simple, powerful, and secure IT management software that enables customers worldwide to accelerate their digital transformation. Their solutions offer a comprehensive and unified view of modern, distributed and hybrid network environments.
