Sanchiconnect, a business-oriented community for deep-tech start-ups, investors, and corporates has announced a partnership with Pilani Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Society and CCMB Hyderabad to provide deep-tech start-ups with opportunities to partner with enterprises, actively share business problems on the Sanchiconnect platform. 

The partnership will provide free hand access to over 90 global institutional investors in deep-tech along with business challenges from prospective enterprise buyers and talent support to start-ups from PIEDS and CCMB.

The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) is a research center focused on the areas of modern biology. It is committed to providing research and education in the most cutting-edge areas of biology and facilitating centralised national access to the most modern techniques in the interdisciplinary areas of biology.

BITS Pilani Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Society (PIEDS) is an autonomous not-for-profit society registered in 2013 under The Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, of 1958. Crafted by BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus in support of various government department initiatives, BITS alumni support and individual contributions, with an aim and object of fostering entrepreneurship spirit, facilitating innovation, and nurturing technology-based startups. 

"This partnership will allow us to expand our reach and ensure that more businesses are able to benefit from the latest technological progress in open markets. We are now partners to India’s top-notch deep tech focussed programs from academics to government-sponsored campuses," said Dr Sunil Shekhawat, cheif executive officer (CEO) of Sanchiconnect.

The partnership will be a game changer for our deep tech startups looking to find their footing in the market, whether it is finding customers for their solution or raising funds for scale” added Mr Sachin Arya, CEO of PIED Society, BITS Pilani.

Dr Sunil Shekhawat, a former head of product initiatives at the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), created Sanchiconnect. It assists deep-tech firms in raising capital by partnering with global investment agencies, including angel networks, venture capitalists, and family funds. 

Among the well-known venture capital firms and investment networks that have joined the platform are Capital 2B (InfoEdge), Pi Ventures, Bharat Innovation Fund, 8x Ventures, Speciale Invest, 3One4 Capital, Your nest VC, GrowX, Ankur Capital, RPG, and Modular Capital. The company is headquartered in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) Mumbai and backed by partners of Baring India Private Equity Fund and Inflexion Point Ventures.
