US-based cloud dental software start-up CareStack recently opened its new office in Thiruvananthapuram's Kinfra IT and ITES special economic zone. The new office will house CareRevneue, a product that aims to provide information and technology (IT) services for dental practices in the US by CareStack.

The 300-seat facility space, which includes a cafeteria and a game zone, has been designed by Noster. The company is currently running 250-seats facility offices at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram and Infopark Kochi. Apart from these two, it runs a 50-seat facility office in Bengaluru.

The company recently closed a strategic equity investment round and commercial partnership with the Swiss dental devices manufacturer Straumann Group. CareStack seeks to utilise the prospects of the investment round in digitising its 10,000 dental offices in the next five years. Additionally, the company wants to hire more people to double the headcount in Indian offices to 600, The Hindu Business Line reported.

Currently, the company runs 1,000 dental clinics across the US.

“We are making steady progress in our mission to elevate the entire dental community globally to the next level. Our customer traction to date demonstrates that the industry is ready for digital transformation. We will continue to invest in our people, products, and customers,” Abhilash Krishna, chief executive officer of CareStack said. He also claimed that plans are afoot to hire skilled technology and healthcare experts.
