Bengaluru-based Squadrone Infra and Mining Pvt Ltd, a start-up in aerial intelligence for mineral exploration, mining has partnered with Industrias Geodia, Guyana, and South America, to tap into the $3-4 billion opportunity in India, the Middle East, and South Asia region.  

The focus of the alliance is to redefine geophysical prospecting and leverage state-of-the-art technology to drive sustainable development and revolutionise mineral exploration, the company said in a statement.  

Commenting on the tie-up, Cyriac Joseph, founder and CEO of Squadrone Infra and Mining Pvt. Ltd said, "Through this initiative, we will be integrating our cutting-edge drone-based technology with Geodia Industries’ prowess in AI and ML-driven exploration technology to push the boundaries of geophysical prospecting. This enables us to strengthen our mission to enable quick and effective decision-making, enhance productivity, and safety, and increase ecological responsibility. Our intention is to set new industry standards for precision and efficiency. By emphasizing the discovery of vital minerals and employing environmentally conscious technology, the partnership aims to reshape the landscape of mining and exploration activities.”

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications ensures seamless mineral exploration, offering a range of services from precise mineral prospecting to immersive 3D reality modeling” Cyriac Joseph added.   

This collaboration between Squadrone and Geodia enables exploration processes that take years using traditional methods to be completed in just a few months, therefore paving the way for accelerated and environmentally friendly exploration processes aligning with ESG, Net Zero, and Sustainable development of mineral exploration and mining projects, the company further added.
