MeitY Startup Hub partners with Recur Club To Back Tech Start-ups

The MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) has joined hands with fintech platform Recur Club Technologies to augment India’s start-up ecosystem. The two entities will work towards equipping start-ups and small businesses in the IT and ITes domain by addressing their issues and leveraging technology to facilitate non-dilutive growth capital.

Recur Club is a funding platform facilitating non-dilutive capital financing for start-ups. It will work with MSH will create an awareness programme for capacity building and upskilling start-ups using their respective network of domain experts. The two will also foster start-ups around growth strategy, efficient capital management, tracking business metrics, and alternative financing solutions. 

Talking about the partnership, Jitendra Vijay, CEO of MSH, said, “MSH is excited to partner with Recur Club to enhance the vistas of the investment ecosystem for technology start-ups and contribute to their growth trajectory. This partnership will enable start-ups to access new funding sources to build scalable and sustainable enterprises.”

Eklavya Gupta, founder and Co-CEO of Recur Club, added that India’s tech start-ups can now access more growth opportunities. “Not only will they learn to leverage the power of non-dilutive financing solutions, but they will also get to build and strengthen their network with domain-leading investors,” he stated.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) had established MSH to boost the country’s tech start-up environment. It recently partnered with investor syndicate platform LetsVenture to fund early-stage start-ups up to $100,000 under the ‘Samridh Scheme’. Selected under the Samridh Accelerator program earlier this year, in the first phase, LetsVenture Foundation will support eight start-ups in sectors like deep-tech, gaming, fintech and SaaS.

MeitY Startup Hub and Google announced a cohort of 100 Indian early to mid-stage start-ups in March 2022. The two chose these from over 400 applicants and will help them build high-quality global apps and games as part of the Appscale Academy.
