American Television Star Kim Kardashian has opened a private equity firm SKKY Partners in partnership with Jay Sammons, who is the former partner at the American investment firm the Carlyle Group. While Kardashian will serve as the co-founder and co-managing partner, Sammons will keep track of everyday operations at the firm. 

In a tweet, Kardashian said, “I’m pleased to announce the launch of @SKKYPartners with private equity veteran Jay Sammons as co-founder and co-managing partner, along with @KrisJenner who will serve as a partner at our firm.”

Sammons is the former global head of consumer media and retail at the Carlyle Group. Notably, Kim, who shot to fame with the reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians also owns several businesses along with his family. Some of the businesses owned by Kim include SKIMS (2019-Present), Dash Boutique (2016-2018), Kim Kardashian Eau De Parfum (2009-Present), Kardashian Kollection (2011-2015), Belle Noel (2011- Present), KKW Beauty & KKW Fragrance (2017-2021), PerfectSkin (2010-2010), ShoeDazzle (2009-Present), Kimoji (2015-2018), and Kim Kardashian: Hollywood Game (2014- Present). Kim, who passed the US Bar examination last year to become a lawyer, currently has a net worth of $1.4 billion.
