Kapiva has announced the revamping of its founding team. COO- Shantanu and CRO- Anuj Sharma will be elevated as co-founders with the aim to unlock the potential of the company.

Shantanu’s new role will focus on building the brand as a strategic lever along with the curation of science-backed products and Anuj will closely work on Integrating Technology to seamlessly deliver holistic health outcomes.

Ayurveda offerings have seen rapid adoption globally, especially in the post-pandemic era. This demand is driven by factors like increased awareness about preventative measures and increased disposable income combined with government initiatives to push traditional medicine systems. The market, as per industry reports, is set to grow by USD 6.81 billion from 2021 to 2026, progressing at a CAGR of 15.32%.

On the onboarding, Ameve Sharma, co-founder of Kapiva said that both Shantanu and Anuj have contributed to the company’s journey in the past 2 years and that there is massive untapped potential waiting to be unlocked.

Shantanu, co-founder of Kapiva (Previously COO), said, “I believe that Ayurveda has the potential to transform people’s lives just like Yoga has done for people across the world. All I can say is we are gearing up to rewrite the history of Ayurveda.”

Expressing his excitement, Anuj Sharma, co-founder of Kapiva (Previously CRO), said, “Together we can empower consumers globally with holistic and modern solutions and act as an ally to the government in putting India on the global map by making Ayurveda the next big export.”

Kapiva is a modern Ayurvedic homegrown D2C brand founded by Ameve Sharma in 2016. The startup also announced a wholly-owned subsidiary in the US- Kapiva Inc in June 2023. It offers a range of products across e-commerce platforms and is also present on-ground.
