Hero Vired appointed Samra Rahman as the head of people and culture. As a member of the core leadership team, She is expected to attract and retain diverse talent, strengthen growth opportunities and drive an agile culture driven by productivity and accountability to aid the company's next level of growth. 

Prior to Hero Vired, Rahman worked as the chief human resource officer at Centum Learning. She was also associated with HCL Technologies, IBM and Tata Teleservices. 

Commenting on the appointment, Akshay Munjal, founder and CEO of Hero Vired, said, “Samra joining us in the next phase of growth, our focus on building a futuristic and agile workforce will be the key to achieving business goals and making deeper inroads into the upskilling landscape. We believe that her vast exposure to the edtech sector and proven expertise in the Learning and Development initiatives will add immense value to the company.”

Hero Vired is an edtech subsidiary of Hero Group. Launched in 2021, the company aims to tap into students who have completed their schooling.  

According to a YourStory report, Hero Vired bagged a revenue of Rs 5 crore in March 2021.
