Professional education firm Imarticus Learning has acquired Hero Mindmine for an undisclosed amount. The latter is a Hero Group platform dedicated to providing learning solutions and training to individuals, enabling them to overcome their professional challenges.

Post-acquisition, Imarticus Learning will function as an end-to-end sales excellence academy. It will offer sales onboarding and upskilling programs, custom training solutions, sales management and leadership programs, sales enablement and coaching, and e-learning and game-based learning content development services.

This is Imarticus’s third acquisition after Skillenza and StartOnboard. The Mumbai-based edtech company is eager to acquire more valuable assets to strengthen its portfolio.

Nikhil Barshikar, the founder of Imarticus Learning, said, “With this acquisition, we will be able to expand further into the field of sales training solutions to emerge as the most reliable and robust player in the field.”

“Working under the banner of Imarticus learning will be a defining experience for our people who will now be a part of the new organization. We are impressed with the milestones that Imarticus Learning has crossed in a short period, as well as the capabilities they bring to the table. In the coming months and years, we hope Imarticus benefits as many students and professionals as possible,” added Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman of Hero Enterprise, the founding organization behind Hero Mindmine.

Imarticus Learning released a report in December 2022, which found a 50 per cent increase in demand for upskilling courses in tier two and three cities. This can be attributed to various factors, including the need to remain relevant in the changing professional landscape coupled with the widespread availability of internet services and the popularity of e-learning courses.

Additionally, the growth of sectors like supply chain management, full stack development, financial services, and cyber security has fuelled the demand for skilled professionals.
