Gurgaon-based OfficeBanao has raised an undisclosed angel investment round from Ajit Mohan (Founder and CEO of Hotstar and the former MD of Meta India), Ramesh Nair ( Industry veteran, real estate) and Apurva Chamaria ( Head of Partnership solutions, Start-ups & venture capital, Google India).

The funding came three months after the company bagged $6 million from Lightspeed.

With the latest infusion of funds, OfficeBanao is planning to fuel its expansion planning and wants to strengthen its position in the industry. In addition to this, it will utilise the money to enhance its technology-driven platform and accelerate product development. It will also expand its workforce.

Launched a year ago, the tech-led platform claims the entire array of commercial interiors, including small office interiors, through its customer-centric solutions in a transparent, cost-effective, and hassle-free manner. Its customer base spans over 15 cities, which include two tier-2 markets. It is also planning to mark its foray into 25 markets in the coming time.

Commenting on this, Tushar Mittal, Founder & CEO, OfficeBanao said, “We’re thrilled to have these industry leaders as partners in our journey. With the combined support of these investments, the recent partnership with Lightspeed, and the dedicated OfficeBanao team, we are well-positioned for accelerated growth and to meet the increasing demand for innovative and comprehensive workspace interior solutions”.
