New Delhi-based Moonshot, an omni-channel  DaaS (distribution as a service) platform, which is known for offering access to general and modern trade, e-commerce, and quick commerce to direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, is aiming to increase the reach of its pan India services across categories.

Additionally, it is targeting to acquire four to five brands and enable a few international brands to enter the Indian market by the end of this year. It intends to add a personal care category along with its existing food and beverage one.

With the intention to add a new category, the company is also planning to expand its distribution channel by bringing more than 3500 FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) into its network by the end of this year. Currently, it uses plug-and-play solutions and operates in places like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking about the latest development, Atul Bahl, the co-founder of Moonshot Distribution System, said,” At Moonshot Distribution System, we are initiating the widespread reach of our portfolio companies to achieve scale geographically with zero fixed costs and helping them grow 100 per cent month-on-month. We offer extensive insights into packaging, pricing, weightage, schemes and promotions suited to increase consumer off-take for our partner bands from both national and regional perspectives.”

Dhruv Jain, the co-founder of Moonshot Distribution System, added, “At Moonshot Distribution System we aim to create a robust network of distributors and warehouses throughout the country. We try to help our brands to scale through our understanding of regional complexities in logistics and operations.  With over 15 brands and over 200 SKUs in our product basket, we aim to reduce the cost of distribution for every brand. ”
