SuperCluster Pi, a House of Brands (HoB) start-up, has raised $2 million in the seed funding round led by Bobby Balachandran of Exterro Inc with participation from marquee angel networks such as Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), Hyderabad Angels, Faad Network and AngelBay. Social influencers including YouTuber Bhuvan Bam and Ranveer Allahbadia, MBA Chaiwala Praful Billore and Arvind Arora also invested.

The start-up intends to use 70 per cent of the fresh funds to make acquisitions and the rest will be used to fuel the growth of the brands, expand its team and enhance its marketing activities. SuperCluster Pi is aiming to acquire six to eight D2C (direct-to-consumer) brands over the next 12 months and eying for a $20 million Annualized Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) run rate. 

Founded by Vishnu Prasath Devarajan in 2021, the company has a workforce of more than 100 team members. The HoB claims to acquire and scale up D2C brands that are consumer-centric, problem-solving and socially conscious. According to a company statement, it has acquired three D2C companies in the last six months and has served more than 30,000 customers.
