KFintech introduces XAlt, an innovative fund administration platform tailored for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) in India. With AIF commitments surging from Rs 1,437 crore in 2013 to Rs 8,33,774 crore in March 2023, XAlt aims to simplify the complexities of AIFs, catering to the growing demand from high-net-worth individuals, ultra-HNIs, and foreign investors.

The platform streamlines fund administration, serving the needs of investors, fund managers, distributors, and regulators amidst the booming alternative investment landscape in India.

XAlt by KFintech provides a seamless investor services experience through its integration with the in-house Fund Accounting platform, mPower. This integration automates crucial processes like valuations, income recognition, and compliance management, significantly improving operational efficiency in fund administration. The collaborative approach enhances the user experience, offering a comprehensive and streamlined solution for managing Alternative Investment Funds in India, the firm said in a statement.

The platform introduces several key features for streamlined Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) administration in India. These include persona-based portals for investors, distributors, and fund managers, enabling customized access to relevant information, it added.

The platform incorporates digital onboarding processes, seamless system integration, and innovative commission processing features, a first in the industry. Regular AML/KYC checks ensure compliance, while robust security measures, including encryption and tokenisation, cater to high-value investors. According to Sreekanth Nadella, MD and CEO at KFintech, XAlt reflects their commitment to meeting the evolving demands of the expanding AIF market in India, as per the release.

The platform aims to set new standards in AIF fund administration, offering automation and user-friendly features that encourage efficient and secure operations. XAlt is poised to impact fund management and contribute to the growth of the AIF sector in India by attracting more investments through its innovative and secure environment, it added.
