India Accelerator has joined forces with venture capital firm Hatcher+ to discover and nurture promising start-ups, harnessing the latter's AI-driven 'Funds as a Service Technology' (FAAST) platform.

Leveraging India Accelerator's network of over 200 start-ups and 1,800 mentor-investor lineup and Hatcher+'s technology, the collaboration aims to catapult start-ups in sectors such as fintech, health tech, agritech, impact, B2B SaaS, D2C as well as sports, media and entertainment to newer heights over the next three years.

Gurugram-based India Accelerator is a scale-up program for tech start-ups in India and the UAE. It invests up to $500000 of seed capital through its SEBI alternative investment funds (AIFs) and industry connections to help generate business opportunities, company-building sessions, strategic mentorship, global expansion trips and support from a large community of exceptional founders.

"India has built a strong and fast-paced entrepreneurial ecosystem, giving rise to 110 unicorn start-ups and over $99 billion combined funds acquisition. Though the Indian start-up ecosystem continues to remain lucrative, there is still a mismatch between the valuation expectations of founders and investors—creating a push-and-pull effect in the market. We are delighted to partner with Hatcher+, which will go beyond traditional VC operations and focus on the scalability of the Indian start-up ecosystem," said Ashish Bhatia, founder and CEO of India Accelerator.

Echoing this enthusiasm, John Sharp, managing partner at Hatcher+, commented, "India Accelerator's deep connection with Indian start-ups, paired with our technologically advanced FAAST platform, promises a transformative experience. The platform's capabilities extend beyond traditional venture capital operations. Its AI-driven approach allows for precise deal analysis, real-time portfolio management, and intelligent capital deployment, ensuring that promising start-ups receive timely and impactful support. We look forward to fostering innovation and scaling excellence in the Indian start-up ecosystem."

Hatcher+ develops advanced software and AI-centric data models that support swift fund creation, AI-driven deal analysis, intelligent capital allocation, and real-time oversight and management of alternative investment strategies. Its FAAST platform streamlines end-to-end fund administration, enabling effortless portfolio construction, task coordination, and real-time financial data visualisation.
